FROM THE FOUNDER

I was doing everything right

Sunlight, clean water, pilates, the gym — I was meticulous. And then I was suddenly diagnosed with a chronic health condition.
No warning. No obvious reason.

It changes you. You start looking at everything differently, not with fear, but with attention. I filtered my water. Switched to stainless steel.
Read every ingredient list food, skincare, everything.

"If it was going into or onto my body, I wanted to know what it was."

I'd spent years in Sydney, deep in fitness culture. Activewear was my uniform. I wore it for hours every day without a second thought.

When I moved back to India, that attention I'd developed finally caught up with something I'd been ignoring.
I started researching what I was actually wearing — pressed against my skin while I sweated and moved.

WHAT I FOUND

An industry almost entirely built on polyester & nylon. Petroleum-derived. Worn against the body's largest organ, all day, every day.

I'd been so careful about everything else. I hadn't thought about this at all.

So I went looking for better. What I found instead was a lot of half-truths. "100% sustainable" brands still blending in plastics.
Vague certifications. Marketing language designed to sound clean without committing to anything.

I come from a manufacturing background, textiles have been part of my family for years. I knew enough to know when something
wasn't adding up. I also knew I was in the right place at the right time to do something about it.

That's how I found Lenzing's Tencel™ Lyocell the certified version.

A plant-based fiber made from wood pulp in a closed-loop process. Not greenwashing. Traceable. Verifiable. And every piece is
manufactured in OEKO-TEX® certified facilities.

There's still 14% elastane. That's not hidden - without it, nothing would stay where it should. But the bulk of what's against your skin
is different from what you'll find almost everywhere else.

That became the foundation of Quiet Moves.

14%

ELASTANE - FOR STRETCH

We're not perfect. We still use Elastane — 5–14% depending on the piece, because performance stretch requires it and we haven't found a plant-based alternative that works yet.

We're honest about that. The goal was never to claim a purity we don't have. It was to eliminate what we could, be transparent about what we couldn't, and build something grounded in biology rather than marketing.

That's why I called it Quiet Moves. It's about a state of mind — focused, present, undistracted.
Not the kind of movement you do, but the way you show up for it. It applies whether you're lifting, flowing, or somewhere in between.

Everything is made in India.
